“Villa Caprile illuminated” is back

Art and CultureTourism and Entertainment

From 31 May to 2 June, the event returns to discover the city's history through the events of the splendid Villa Caprile in Pesaro.

Three days of free entry proposals – with a program that runs between 17.30pm and 23pm –

The 2019 edition will offer the opportunity to discover characters unknown to most (such as the surprising Eustachio Bambini or the many singers, musicians, actors, dancers and impresarios who animated the Pesaro Theater in 1800) or unpublished aspects of well-known protagonists of the time: from the most "secret" Casanova to the agronomist and gourmet Rossini, from the musicologist Passeri to the Stendhal investigator of the female soul, from the botanical passion of Emily Dickinson to the sentimental and urban wanderings of Jane Austen (retraced in a theatrical piece written by Roberto Bertinetti), up to the contemporary voices of the writer Paolo Teobaldi - singer of San Bartolo - and the poet Gianni D'Elia, "reader" of the infinite Marche, from Leopardi to today.

And in honor of music, Pesaro Unesco Creative City of Music, over the three days the immortal arias of Italian and European authors such as Strozzi, Monteverdi, D'India, Händel, Mozart, Rossini, Pergolesi, Di Capua, Rousseau, Jommelli, Respighi, Gallo, Uccellini, van Wassenaer, Schumann, Mendelssohn or Faurè performed by musicians of all ages from the most diverse parts of the world. Among these, the very young members of the Gioachino Orchestra directed by Maestro Massimo Sabbatini, the students of the Rossini Conservatory and the Liceo Musicale Marconi, Donatella Tonini and Gianluca Tartaglia, Roberta Pandolfi and Francesca Perrotta, Pamela Lucciarini and the singers and instrumentalists of the International Opera Studio of Inga Balabanova directed by Maestro Salvatore Francavilla engaged in the concert-show The Tale of the Magic Flute, the grand finale of the event.

A hundred protagonists who will make Villa Caprile luminous: Alessandro Pertosa, Giorgio Castellani, Elena Bacchielli, Maria Chiara Mazzi, Enrico Capodaglio, Rodolfo Battistini, Giuseppe Giovanetti, Brunella Paolini, Davide Riboli, Marco Rocchi. There are many surprises: the exhibitions, guided tours and Regency-style entertainment organized by the Jane Austen "Sofa & Carpet" Club of Riccione, the high-level craftsmanship offerings, the "olfactory" tastings of perfumes and fragrances organized by Habitania and those food and wine entrusted to the culinary mastery of the Cecchi Institute staff. There will be no shortage of activities for the little ones with workshops, readings and "child-friendly" visits to the water games and gardens. The villa will be accessed from the entrances on via Caprile and via Caprilino. In case of bad weather, the events will take place in the Fresco Hall on the main floor of the villa, in the Oratory of San Francesco and in the tensile structure.
In short, even in case of rain, Villa Caprile will always be admired and enjoyed.
