Macerata by horse carriage

In the beautiful old town of Macerata there is a museum, well worth a visit for parents and children, located in one of the most stunning hostorical buildings in the city, Palazzo Buonaccorsi, designed by Roman architect Giambattista Contini.

The museum is in the underground floor, where there were the ancient horse stables, now there are ancient carriages exposed, from simple service carriages to luxurious carriages for delegations.

There are twenty-four carriages in the collection, with exclusive and suggestive outfitting, with modern techniques, there’s even a carriage that awaits visitors who want to try a ride, by simulate movements, a virtual travel immersed into the lanscape of the region Marche.
It is absolutely intersting, well-worth a visit.

In the picture: the simulate carriage, the suggestive ride on ancient horse carriages.
